My schedule can get pretty crazy, and this fall was no joke. After I left my previous job, I was sure my traveling schedule would calm down a bit. However, this year, that hasn’t been the case. In the Fall, I wasn’t home for more than 4 days at a time from mid-September to mid-November. I went to my hometown, two weddings, Texas twice, Las Vegas, and Ireland/Italy before coming home exhausted and ready for a break.
In between all that, and for part of 2017 my husband and I have been TTC, or trying to conceive. We are major planners and decided that growing our family would be a great next step. Unfortunately, because of my travel schedule and the stress of both of our jobs, it can often be difficult to get all the pieces of the puzzle together (being home, not being exhausted, not having much to do), in order to make it work.
That’s why I was excited to try the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System as part of my involvement with Clever. I was looking for a way to make the process easier, and I certainly feel like it has!
The Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System is more than just the urine tests (which was what I was using previously). It comes with a holder that gives digital results that are easy-to-understand (smiley faces ☺ ) and automatically sync to your smartphone via Bluetooth®1It also tracks and compares your cycles and advises when the best days to try are.
The coolest thing I loved about the test system was that it didn’t just test for the Luteinizing Hormone (LH), which is what most ovulation tests look for. The Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System is the first and only ovulation test system to track two unique hormones measuring LH and E3G hormones to accurately identify the fertile window.
While using the test, I was astounded to learn that my most fertile days were completely different than what websites and the apps I’ve tried have recommended. A recent published study found that only 9% of free apps accurately predict the best days for conception2. No wonder they didn’t work for me! I have enjoyed using the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System Make sure you aren’t rushed the first time you use it and have plenty of time to read the thorough directions.
If you are TTC and love using technology to fit with your busy lifestyle, I urge you to try the Clearblue® Connected Ovulation Test System. I feel so fortunate I was able to try it and it has made my personal TTC journey much less stressful and more straightforward. If you do try it, be sure to review it on your favorite retailer site so others can know how it worked for you.
